This internship offers a summer opportunity for mechanical engineering students to join a dynamic Vehicle Engineering team in Allen Park, MI, with occasional work in Livonia, MI.
Candidates should be at least a junior pursuing a bachelor's in mechanical engineering or similar, with CAD skills (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX) and proficiency in MS Office. The role provides hands-on experience in body and vehicle systems design, development, and testing within the automotive industry.
Preferred applicants may have aerospace education, prior automotive internships, mechanical hobbies, or team project experience (e.g., Formula SAE, Baja, EV). The position is full-time, onsite, and paid, with benefits like sick time and 401K.
