Support experimental operations as a Mechanical Technologist/Sr. Mechanical Technologist in a secure, innovative environment.
Provide technical assistance in designing, fabricating, assembling, and maintaining mechanical components and systems, including working with hazardous materials like radioactive or fissile substances.
Operate diagnostic equipment, maintain documentation, and ensure safety and readiness of support areas.
At the higher level, contribute to complex system assembly, participate in design reviews, and offer technical guidance.
Qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent, experience with mechanical fabrication, diagnostic equipment, and reading engineering drawings.
