Role: Medical Assistant
Location: Winchester, MA
Contract: 13 weeks contract with a possibility of extension
Pay rate: $18/hr
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri

Our client's doctors practice in a wide range of medical specialties such as Cardiology, Chiropractic Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Gynecology, Gynecology/Surgical Oncology, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, OB/Gyn, Pediatrics, and Pulmonary/Sleep Disorders.
Contributes to the Hospital’s mission by assisting in the delivery of quality, safe clinical care in the ambulatory setting. This clinical staff position will have an impact on the patient’s experience by facilitating excellent outcomes utilizing a collaborative team approach to patient care and on patient satisfaction by minimizing wait times and ensuring a clean, well-stocked and welcoming environment
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Preferred: Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Preferred: EMR (EPIC) experience
Other Skills/Knowledge Required:
Basic computer skills and good typing skills with accuracy and attention to detail
For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS:
- Preferred: Medical Assistant Certification
- Degree from an accredited Practical Nursing Program
- Previous MA experience
- EPIC experience preferred
- Current cert: BLS CPR
LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: AHA Basic Life Support
