We are actively seeking talented physicians to join our growing team in the vibrant regions of Sarasota, Fort Myers, Naples and surrounding areas within Florida’s Southwest Coast.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• The practice is looking for a team-oriented fellowship trained general medical oncologist and hematologist.
• This is an excellent full-time opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to providing superior patient and community centered care.
• Candidates’ responsibilities include out-patient clinics, clinical research, chemo supervision, in-patient and consultation service.
• Candidates’ responsibilities will include managing both malignant cancers, and benign hematology diagnosis.
• The physician would have the opportunity to participate in research and clinical trials.

REQUIREMENTS

• Full unrestricted Florida MD/DO License
• BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology
• Rotating rounding/call is required

Position Summary:

• Examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals.
• Ensure proper diagnosis and treatment of patients in an out-patient clinic setting.
• Will occasionally assist other physicians in the care and teaching of oncology/hematology patients in an in-patient setting.

Required Qualifications:

• A graduate of an allopathic US Medical School or an international medical school (IMG) with a valid ECFMG Certificate and at least 2 years in Oncology/Hematology;
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as Medical Doctor with the State of Florida Board of Medicine; and Board Certified/Eligible in Oncology & Hematology.
• Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Leadership skills necessary to direct others toward objectives that contribute to the successful treatment of patients.
• Analytical skills necessary to evaluate patients’ status and monitor quality of patient care.
• Fiscal skills to monitor and control costs and revenue.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion while performing duties.
• Valid Florida Driver License.
• Must comply with the FCS Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy.
