We are actively seeking talented physicians to join our growing team in the vibrant regions of Sarasota, Fort Myers, Naples and surrounding areas within Florida’s Southwest Coast.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- The practice is looking for a team-oriented fellowship trained general medical oncologist and hematologist.
- This is an excellent full-time opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to providing superior patient and community centered care.
- Candidates’ responsibilities include out-patient clinics, clinical research, chemo supervision, in-patient and consultation service.
- Candidates’ responsibilities will include managing both malignant cancers, and benign hematology diagnosis.
- The physician would have the opportunity to participate in research and clinical trials.

REQUIREMENTS
- Full unrestricted Florida MD/DO License
- BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology
- Rotating rounding/call is required
Position Summary:
- Examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals.
- Ensure proper diagnosis and treatment of patients in an out-patient clinic setting.
- Will occasionally assist other physicians in the care and teaching of oncology/hematology patients in an in-patient setting.
Required Qualifications:
- A graduate of an allopathic US Medical School or an international medical school (IMG) with a valid ECFMG Certificate and at least 2 years in Oncology/Hematology;
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as Medical Doctor with the State of Florida Board of Medicine; and Board Certified/Eligible in Oncology & Hematology.
- Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Leadership skills necessary to direct others toward objectives that contribute to the successful treatment of patients.
- Analytical skills necessary to evaluate patients’ status and monitor quality of patient care.
- Fiscal skills to monitor and control costs and revenue.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion while performing duties.
- Valid Florida Driver License.
- Must comply with the FCS Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy.
