Description

Hi! I'm Vic Dorfman, the founder of MemberFix.

My team and I are looking for a passionate person to join our team on a low-commitment, part-time basis as a "MemberFix Tech".

Job Description

Solving support tickets

As a MemberFix Tech your core duty is to help provide WordPress and general tech support to our growing list of happy customers.

You will deal with all kinds of different WordPress issues so general expertise around WordPress, development, design and various web technology is required for this position.

You will also have the opportunity to work with a lot of popular 3rd party apps like ClickFunnels, ThriveCart, SamCart, Zapier, etc., so if you have expertise with these other systems it's a bonus.

As our name suggests, we also work a lot with WordPress membership sites, so knowledge in this area is desired but again, not required.

Please note that you do not necessarily have to have prior experience with any of these apps as long as you can learn quickly.

Most of our team is self-taught so we welcome you if you're good at figuring things out for yourself (use Google! Read documentation! Ask support!)

Blog Posts

In addition to the core task of helping our customers with support tickets, each team member is also responsible for writing 2 small blog posts per month.

These are generally simple, step by step "how to" articles that come directly from a real issue you encounter while helping a customer.

For example:

https://memberfix.rocks/divi-child-theme/

https://memberfix.rocks/modal-optin-gravityforms/

https://memberfix.rocks/migrate-to-wpforo/

For each article you will receive a content brief, exact instructions and a deadline.

The best part is you can pick most of your articles as you encounter interesting issues that you'd like to document!

Hours

  • Start hourly for a trial period
  • If trial period is successful, move to a part-time schedule of 5 days per week at 4 hours per day
  • You can work any hours that are convenient for you; no need to be online at certain times

Compensation

Negotiable based on experience and other factors.

Conclusion

The two most important things in our team is to be a professional and to have fun.

We really enjoy our work, and treat each other like family.

If you're looking to grow with a great team of talented people, learn new skills, and decide your own future, we should talk. :)

The position will start out hourly during a trial period and will then transition into 5 days per week, 4 hours per day.

Best,

Vic Dorfman
