COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS for Mental Health Specialist
- Salary Range: $276,000 to $375,000
- NO STATE INCOME TAX - keep more of your earnings!
- Relocation Package - $30k
- Sign-on Bonus - 10% of base salary
- Retention Bonus: 10% of salary at the 2-year mark
- Continuing Medical Education: 5 days + stipend
- Student Loan Repayment through NHSC - ISH
- Annual merit-based salary increases up to 7% available
- Paid Time Off: Yes - Over 400 hours if unused. Plus 13 Federal Holidays!
RESPONSIBILITIES AND FACILITY DETAILS for Mental Health Specialist
- Engage in collaborative consultations with Primary Care providers for patient management
- Consult with healthcare professionals regarding patient care strategies
- Briefly meet with referred patients to assess their needs
- Decide on the appropriate psychiatric treatment approaches for patients, determining the best care setting between Primary Care or outpatient behavioral health
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS for Mental Health Specialist
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (applicable for residents completing training)
