Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Metal Casting Laborers for projects located in and around Waupaca, WI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $18/hour based on experience and skill level plus $100/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
- Working with grinders, hoists, furnaces and other heavy equipment
- Deburr and grind castings to remove defects and polish metal parts
- Participate in pattern-making and mold preparation as needed
- Remove castings from molds and clean finished products
- Work on special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs
- Must be reliable and open to taking direction
- Able to adapt to various tasks and machines on the floor
- Comfortable working in hot indoor conditions
- Experience in a metal casting or industrial grinding environment preferred but not required
