Full Scope Hospital Based Midwife

Position Summary:
Hospital based Midwife will provide all aspects of OB/GYN care including prenatal care, deliveries, chronic conditions, well care and acute care to patients in a cost effective manner with a focus on quality outcomes. The APP acts as a role model to facilitate and enhance the development of quality nursing care through evidence based practice.

Position is full-time with 20 patient facing clinic hours a week and 1:3-4 on call.

Position Requirements:

• Current licensure from the State of Illinois as an Advanced Practice Registered Professional Nurse
• Current certification by AMCB
• Masters of Science in Nursing with clinical specialty appropriate to position.
• Maintains State of Illinois and Federal DEA license.
• Must maintain Copley Memorial Hospital clinical privileges, if applicable
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with 2 years of experience in area of clinical specialty.
• CPR and NRP certification.
• Excellent communication skills.
