MRI TECHNOLOGIST PER DIEM

Job Summary: The MRI Technologist performs MRI exams and procedures under general supervision, ensuring adherence to accepted standards and protocols. Responsibilities include patient care, education, record maintenance, and enforcing magnetic field safety. The role requires both independent and team collaboration.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Conduct MR imaging procedures and explain them to patients.
• Obtain patient consent and ensure comfort during exams.
• Administer contrast agents as needed and manage image documentation.
• Perform equipment checks and maintain safety protocols.
• Participate in departmental meetings and comply with policies.

• Required Education & Experience:

• High school diploma and certified radiology technologist program completion.
• Current ARRT certification in MRI and BLS required.
• Minimum 2 years of MRI clinical experience preferred.
