Seeking a Network Engineer 2 to support electronic security systems for federal and commercial clients, including intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, and IT systems.
Responsibilities include installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network equipment; developing system designs; assisting in project documentation; conducting surveys and inspections; and supporting system testing and commissioning.
The role requires supporting a 24/7 schedule, performing preventative maintenance, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, IT, or Computer Engineering with 2+ years of experience, U.S. Citizenship, ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance, and knowledge of network technologies, security, and tools like Cisco, Wireshark, and Juniper.
Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with cybersecurity practices are essential.
