Kforce is partnering with a leading national organization to identify a Network Engineer to support a large-scale, multi-site network environment spanning approximately 600 locations across the United States. This role combines technical network engineering with high-touch customer support and is best suited for individuals who are both technically solid and highly people-oriented. This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite/2 remote) based in the Denver Tech Center.

Overview: The Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting outages, maintaining connectivity across distributed locations, and providing clear, calm communication to non-technical stakeholders during incidents. This role requires strong technical fundamentals paired with excellent customer service skills and emotional intelligence.

A key aspect of success in this role is the ability to take ownership of issues, remain calm under pressure, and communicate effectively with General Managers and site leadership across multiple business locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support for enterprise network infrastructure across ~600 locations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and firewall-related issues
  • Support network outages and restore connectivity for remote sites
  • Coordinate with field technicians for cabling, installations, and on-site support
  • Configure, ship, and deploy network hardware to remote locations
  • Support new site builds and network setup for new facility openings
  • Partner with Project Managers and site stakeholders on network design and deployment
  • Communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical business users
  • De-escalate and manage communications during outage or incident scenarios
  • Participate in a 7-week rotating on-call schedule
