Seeking a Senior Network Engineer with enterprise experience in Nexus 2K-9K, Cisco Routers and Switches, BGP, EIGRP, Data Center, VPN, and GRE tunneling.
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Irvine, CA (must be able to relocate and start within 2 weeks)
Responsibilities include:
- Providing support for infrastructure comprising Cisco Nexus, Catalyst switches, routers, and firewalls
- Documenting all networking infrastructure details accurately
- Evaluating and implementing new technologies
- Performing upgrades, installations, enhancements, and configuration changes
- Monitoring daily operations and troubleshooting issues
- Maintaining and supporting data center infrastructure equipment
- Adhering to change management policies
- Collaborating on cross-department and cross-company projects
Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role involves phone screenings and face-to-face interviews.
