We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer (L3) for an onsite role in Los Angeles or Rosemead, CA, for a 6-12 month contract. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure, with strong skills in routing, switching, troubleshooting, and network operations in large-scale environments.
Key responsibilities include providing L3 network support for LAN/WAN, configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks, monitoring network performance, performing root cause analysis, supporting upgrades and migrations, collaborating with infrastructure/security teams, maintaining documentation, and participating in incident management.
Required skills include extensive experience with Cisco technologies, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network monitoring tools. Candidates must be able to work 100% onsite.
Preferred qualifications include Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE), experience in large enterprise or utility environments, and knowledge of network security and firewall technologies.
