The Sr. Network Engineer is a remote or hybrid role focused on defining and assessing the organization’s security strategy and architecture across enterprise networks.
They will translate business goals and risk management into security processes using advanced technologies and provide leadership and guidance to various teams.
The responsibilities include designing network policies, controls, VLANs, and secure segmentation aligned with Zero Trust principles, validating security configurations, and developing security architecture artifacts.
The role involves monitoring changes in threat environments, advising on security during infrastructure projects, conducting threat modeling, ensuring accurate infrastructure inventories, and drafting deployment plans.
Technical skills in LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, firewalls, and cloud networks are required, with certifications like CCNP, CISSP, or CCIE being a plus.
Duration is a 6-month contract-to-perm position.
