Seeking a Mid-level Network Engineer (Fleet Support) in Norfolk, VA, with remote flexibility but on-site support aboard U.S. Navy ships required.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting shipboard networks (ADNS, CANES, CENTRIXS, SCI, VIXS, WRBS), performing root cause analysis, and providing technical support for Navy afloat systems.
Must have 3+ years supporting military networks, experience with Cisco, Windows Server, Linux, and a current DoD IAT Level II security certification. Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance is required.
Desired skills include designing enterprise networks, wireless tech, high availability architectures, hybrid cloud support, and familiarity with Navy systems. Travel (~25%) and occasional after-hours support are expected.
Qualifications include a degree with experience or equivalent, U.S. citizenship, and security clearances. Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills are essential.
