The role involves participating in on-call support, troubleshooting complex network issues, maintaining documentation, performing upgrades, and coordinating with vendors.
Additionally, the engineer will enhance security through network segmentation and access control, monitor network performance, and carry out routine maintenance with minimal disruption.
Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of experience, proficiency with firewall and networking equipment, relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE), and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
