This contingent Network Engineer 4 role supports large-scale enterprise LAN, WAN, and Data Center networks.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, configuring, and supporting network solutions in complex environments, including Cisco Nexus and Arista platforms with VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, and routing protocols.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and troubleshooting high-availability networks, applying QoS standards, supporting automation with Python and Ansible, and maintaining technical documentation.
Work involves collaboration across engineering and operations teams in a hybrid setting, with a focus on modernization, network optimization, and compliance.
Preferred certifications include CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE, along with experience in traffic engineering, multicast, HSRP, and network automation tools. The role requires strong communication skills and strategic network planning expertise.
Contract length is 18 months, located in Charlotte, NC; Chandler, AZ; or Irving, TX, with a hybrid work schedule. The pay rate ranges from $69 to $74 per hour.
