What You Need to Know Before You Apply
This position is challenging, and only the best will succeed. Please do not apply if:
- You are unavailable to work opening shifts at 6:00 a.m. or closing shifts at 10:00 p.m.
- You do not have reliable transportation (public transportation can not accommodate the above requirements)
- You are unable to work Saturdays
- You are not willing to work hard and uphold Chick-fil-A’s high standards
- You cannot work with urgency or under pressure
- You cannot multitask effectively
- You cannot lift at least 40 lbs regularly
- You are not committed to arriving on time each day, with no excuses
- You are not open to being held accountable for your actions
- You are not willing to greet each team member and guest with a friendly smile
Back of House Team Member Responsibilities
As a Back of House Team Member at Chick-fil-A, you’re not just getting a job; you’re joining a team that values professional growth, teamwork, and customer service. You’ll work closely with experienced leaders who will help you develop skills that will positively impact others while offering invaluable experience.
- Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
- Be knowledgeable of all kitchen station assignments, including fries, breading, assembling and food prep
- Stock kitchen inventory as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Stay up-to-date on new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
- Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to leadership
- Complete in-house training and stay current with any updates
- Perform all opening or closing tasks as assigned
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A’s rules and dress code at all times
- Other duties as assigned
