Function of The Group: We are the regulatory reporting ream that sits within corporate finance in the controllers office and the broader team is responsible for hundreds of financial regulatory filings.
Initiatives/Projects: A temporary Regulatory Reporting resource is needed to assist with integration impacts resulting from the First Bank acquisition. This resource's primary responsibility during the engagement will be to assist with issues management which may range from participation in project teams consisting of SMEs from various disciplines across to assisting the regulatory reporting team with other ad hoc requests as needed.
Industry Background: Financial/Banking background required, Experience and familiarity with FR Y-14M or Q Reporting huge plus
Team Dynamic: Approximately 30 full time employees and a handful of contractors
Role/Responsibilities:
A temporary Regulatory Reporting resource is needed to assist with integration impacts resulting from the First Bank acquisition. This resource's primary responsibility during the engagement will be to assist with issues management which may range from participation in project teams consisting of SMEs from various disciplines across to assisting the regulatory reporting team with other ad hoc requests as needed.
Leads the analytics processes across multiple functions or business units leveraging an array of complex analytical tools to create data driven solutions.
Consults with various business departments on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
Determine the optimal analytic approach and support development, implementation and enhancements.
Conceptualize, develop and continuously optimize analytical solution for operations. Provide updates to the regulatory reporting team on the progress of data remediation efforts consisting of detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from, data processing, and data analysis.
