Children’s Minnesota is the seventh largest pediatric health system in the United States and the only health system in Minnesota to provide care exclusively to children, from before birth through young adulthood. The Psychiatric and Psychological departments provide services on both the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses, with limited services at Woodwinds in Woodbury and Children's West in Minnetonka. Specific services include individual and family therapy, psychological assessment, neuropsychological assessment, and psychiatric evaluation and medication management.
This APRN position will provide psychiatric consultation and care for Children's Partial Hospitalization program in Lakeville, as well as outpatient care through Children's Psychiatry Clinic. There may be some provision of back up support to our inpatient consultation services and on call coverage for our system with appropriate support and back up as well. In addition to the qualifications below, qualified candidates should be interested in and comfortable with working with colleagues and care teams in the more intensive settings of PHP and inpatient.
Current Minnesota RN license. Current MN APRN License. Current BLS Certification. Nationally Board Certified as a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner
