The Operating Mechanic role supports chemical and industrial operations in a safety-focused environment, offering growth in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
Work is onsite at Big Bend with a rotating 12-hour DuPont schedule: 4 days on, 7 off, then nights and days in a similar pattern.
Responsibilities include safely operating heavy equipment (payloader, skid loader, forklift), assisting with routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications include 1-2 years of industrial or manufacturing experience, basic computer skills, a valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a TWIC, and proficiency in basic math and English. Experience with heavy equipment and industrial maintenance is preferred.
