The Operations Manager supports warehouse and distribution activities at a new freezer facility in St. Louis, MO. Reporting to the General Manager, they oversee product movement, customer service, and team management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Essential functions include ensuring daily operations meet productivity and safety standards, managing budgets, monitoring KPIs, and maintaining compliance with safety and food safety regulations. They coordinate with departments to ensure inventory accuracy, handle damaged goods, and optimize workflows. The role involves building customer relationships, leading safety initiatives, developing operational procedures, and reporting performance.
Qualifications include at least 5 years of supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse operations, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Experience with WMS and RF systems is preferred. An associate's degree is preferred. The pay range is $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
