Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and drive efficiency, profitability, and team performance. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at problem-solving, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
This position plays a critical role in managing crews, coordinating logistics, maintaining compliance, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations and scheduling
- Manage dispatch, routing, and job assignments
- Supervise and develop team members, including crew leaders and office staff
- Monitor KPIs, labor costs, and job profitability
- Ensure compliance with DOT, DMV, and company policies
- Maintain fleet, equipment, and inventory oversight
- Handle customer escalations and ensure high satisfaction ratings
- Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to optimize scheduling and revenue
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of operations or logistics management experience (moving industry preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience with scheduling software and CRM systems
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet management (preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the moving, transportation, or home services industry
- Budget management experience
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
