Operator - Eagle Fabrication

Basic Scope/Purpose:  (The job’s primary purpose or contribution to the department or organization.)

 The Operator will set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines and secondary machines to produce a wide variety of belting products as well as utilize automated equipment to produce endless belts to meet the expectations of the customer.

 **This position has potential for career progression through 3 levels.

 ·         Fabricate high quality standard o-rings utilizing automated equipment to required specifications, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

·         Follow all work instructions associated with the responsibilities of the position.

·         Responsible for entering time and scrap in E1/DSI

·         Proficiently butt weld and recognize quality of weld.

·         Able to efficiently run work cells #1, #2, and #3.

·         Maintain a clean work environment using 6s standards and principles

·         Performs monthly PM’s on equipment.

·         Maintain and promote Fenner Precision Polymers Values and Behaviors at all times.

         Demonstrates and is able to maintain effectiveness in all Principal Accountabilities outlined in the Operator I – Fabrication job description.

·         Fabricate high quality endless special profile belts manually to required specifications, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

·         Able to efficiently run work cells #4 and #5.

·         Maintain a clean work environment.

·         Maintain and promote Fenner Precision Polymers Values and Behaviors at all times

·         Demonstrates and is able to maintain effectiveness in all Principal Accountabilities outlined in the Operator II – Fabrication job description.

·         Able to set up and run cogging and STS secondary operations.

·         Maintain a clean work environment.

 ·    Learn and follow EHS policies, rules and work instructions

·    Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion and keep equipment in proper working condition.

 Education and/or Relative Experience:  (The level of education and/or experience needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.)

 ·    This position requires a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

·    Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing work and machine operation environment.

·    Must have the ability to demonstrate good mechanical aptitude and skills.

 ·    Requires 2-3 years of experience

 ·    Requires 3-5 years of experience

 Certificates, Licenses, Registrations  (The licenses, certificates or registrations that are required to perform the essential duties of this job.)

 ·    Tow motor license (training provided by Fenner Precision Polymers)
