Baylor Scott & White Health is recruiting an Optometrist to join a growing Ophthalmology practice in Temple, Texas.


Position Highlights


+ Individual will be joining a well-developed Ophthalmology/Optometry practice within BSWH- Temple

+ Subspecialty support includes: Refractive Surgery, Glaucoma, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Oculoplastics, General Ophthalmology, Retina, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Cornea

+ Baylor Scott & White- Pavillion in Temple, TX

+ Epic EMR system Kaleidoscope for Eyes; Zeiss Forum for image management


Compensation


New Providers to BSW receive a two-year minimum salary guarantee based on level of experience. There are opportunities to transition to the regular compensation plan sooner than two years. The BSW regular compensation plan utilizes an RVU based system based on a blend of national surveys. For reference, the current blended median (50 th percentile) benchmark for RVUs is 6,024 with a corresponding compensation of $172K (50 th percentile). Our Faculty Optometrists produce RVUs in the 85 th to 95 th percentiles and are compensated accordingly.

Qualifications/Requirements:


· Doctorate Degree in Optometry


· License from the National Board of Examiners in Optometry


· State of Texas license from the Texas Optometry Board
