Painter

We are seeking a skilled, reliable painter to join our growing company.  You must have proven commercial and residential painting experience.   

To succeed in this role, you need to be dependable, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and possess meticulous attention to detail. 

(Multi-family, New Construction, and Commercial Projects)

Painter Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepping surfaces prior to layering paint - cleaning, trimming, taping
• Inspect and repair damaged surfaces - fill and patch holes, cracks and imperfections
• Cleaning and clearing of debris
• Protecting surfaces - taping, drip cloths
• Use of rollers, brushes and sprayers
• Other duties as assigned

Painter Requirements: 

• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift 50+ lbs.
• Positive attitude and work ethic
• Able to work independently or as an active member of the team
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working at elevated levels

Most of the projects that are performed by NHI Commercial are directly related to multi-family housing. This means that in many cases, projects are performed within occupied units and communities, and it is the expectation of NHI Commercial that all employees act with a high level of professionalism.

Pay range:   $18 - $25 per hour based on experience

*Consistent base rate.  Many jobs are based on government contracts and fall under prevailing wage.  If prevailing wage is higher, the employee will get the higher of the two.
