Description: Our client is currently seeking a Paraeducator to join a local Elementary School in Aston, PA!
Scope of Role:
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Support students with special needs
- Work with individual or small groups of students to help them implement specific academic, behavioral, and physical accommodations as outlined in their Individualized Education Program.
- Documenting students' needs, strengths, gains, and problem areas, as directed by the teacher(s)
- Must maintain the confidentiality of student records and information
- Consult with teachers to implement goals and monitor progress.
- Occasionally may provide direct student assistance with monitoring medical conditions, physical needs, personal care, feeding, and toileting
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with special needs children
- Must have reliable transportation
