Part-Time Bartender – Serve Drinks Only

Job Title: Bartender – Serve Drinks Only (PT)

(Wine, Champagne, and bottled or draft beer)

Location: LaMarr Civic Center, Eufaula, AL

Salary: $12.00 p/hr. + Tips

Experience: At least 3 years’ experience serving drinks

Overall Description: Bartenders work directly with customers by serving drinks. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies. The bartenders attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons. One of the bartender’s ultimate goals is to deliver excellent customer service, creating a unique experience for the customer which makes them want to return; be positive, loyal and a proud ambassador of the LaMarr Civic Center.

Responsibilities:

• Help to create a friendly bar-like experience
• Serve wine, champagne, and bottled or draft beer
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Wash and sanitize all glassware and bar utensils
• Be attentive
• Help for assistance before the guests ask for it
• Count drinks guests are served.
• Remain confident, self-motivated and demonstrate a passionate commitment to business

• Ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all customers
• Engage with guest in a confident manner
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to work when LCC has a need for bartenders
• Good dexterity, and the ability to use a service tray
