Seeking applications for non-tenure track, part-time lecturers for the Fall 2026 semester for required communications courses in Questrom’s Master’s of Finance programs at Boston University.

In this course, students learn to express critical and analytical thought clearly, concisely, and persuasively in multiple mediums. Specifically, students learn to: synthesize financial data into compelling, insight-driven narratives that drive action; structure communication logically based on evidence; create and critique financial visualizations; delivery high-impact presentations that establish executive presence; and respond effectively in the moment. The compensation rate for adjunct lecturers teaching this half-semester communications course at the Questrom School of Business ranges from $5,000-$6,000.



Required Skills

The instructor must have strong critical thinking, analytical and financial skills, and must be able to convey the importance of these skills to professional success. Clear, logical thinkers are valued along with the ability to grade papers and presentations fairly and consistently. Facility with generative AI is a plus. Business experience and/or teaching experience are valued. Business executives with backgrounds in Finance are encouraged to apply. A master’s degree or higher is required.
