Description

The Parts & Inventory Associate will be responsible for keeping the warehouse organized and ensuring an efficient flow of parts and materials in and out. He/she will be the primary person for shipping and receiving and assist with staging jobs, forklift operations, and also train as a back-up in purchasing.

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
  • Ship and receive inventory, including all UPS/FedEx deliveries and put into stock
  • Receive into the system parts for beer/soda jobs and notify Service Department when items are delivered;
  • Package and prepare parts orders, via freight, UPS, etc.
  • Stage equipment for installation and service jobs
  • Pull parts requested for installs and services and transfer into technicians' virtual warehouse
  • Pull parts and equipment for truck stock replenishment
  • Re-stock back into house inventory any parts substituted or not used on jobs
  • Safely operate forklift as needed
  • Physically dispose of parts and equipment designated as scrap
  • Assist in tagging and bagging all parts for stock and dispatch
  • Cross-Train and serve as a back-up for purchasing
  • Make deliveries as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of related experience in warehouse or parts required
  • Ability to recognize basic mechanical parts
  • Prior experience working in computer systems
  • Working knowledge of inventory and warehouse processes
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Ability to demonstrate good organizational skills
  • Team player with ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook is a MUST
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance; up to 150 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to be on your feet for most of the working day
  • Ability to twist and bend at the waist repeatedly
  • Ability to climb a ladder
  • Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with manager, customers, vendors, and co-workers via phone, text, email, and in person
