This full-time position involves greeting patients warmly, accurately collecting patient and insurance information, handling co-pays, and generating fee slips with signatures.
- Answering calls, screening messages, and providing information to patients and staff.
- Entering data into the EHR system and escorting patients to appointments.
- Assisting patients with wheelchair needs and maintaining a safe, organized work area.
- Working flexible hours, including urgent care shifts, as needed.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, with experience in customer service or healthcare environment being advantageous.
Skills in communication, multi-line phone systems, and basic computer and medical terminology knowledge are essential.
The role requires the ability to defuse irate callers, clear speech, and physical ability to sit most of the day with some walking or standing.
The work environment is a well-lit office using standard equipment.
