Full-time ophthalmology front desk position focused on patient care and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include greeting patients, checking them in, scanning insurance cards and licenses, entering demographic data, collecting authorization or referrals, presenting and collecting payments, scheduling follow-up appointments, and managing accounts receivable.
Maintains accurate chart data, balances cash drawers, and ensures timely patient flow.
