Registration Coordinator needed for a busy multispecialty Ambulatory Surgical Center in Encinitas. The role involves
interface with patients, families, physicians, and staff; admitting patients and processing paperwork; updating
demographics; collecting payments; handling funds according to procedures; and answering phone calls.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in hospital clerical work or medical terminology.
Skills needed are operating office equipment, typing at 45 wpm, and good communication. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Medical terminology and computer skills are beneficial.
The facility complies with vaccination laws; candidates may need to provide proof of vaccination or obtain exemptions with regular testing.
Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
