Position Summary
Clinical Nutrition at Boston Children’s Hospital is dedicated to providing infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with comprehensive nutrition assessments—an essential component of individualized care plans for a wide range of conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing nutritional care to patients within specific inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans.
- Assisting in the supervision of the daily work of the dietetic technician.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:- A Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
Experience:- 3+ years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least 2 years in pediatric nutrition
Certifications/Licensure:- Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian
- Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
