The Section of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine of Wake Forest School of Medicine and Brenner Childrens Hospital (BCH) is seeking a full-time Academic General Pediatrician to join our faculty.
- This opportunity includes primary roles in academics and clinical service.
- The ideal candidate would be board certified or board eligible in General Pediatrics, possess strong clinical and teaching skills and have experience in and dedication to scholarly activity in research, quality improvement, and/or education.

General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine is a strong collaborative section composed of 26 pediatricians across all ranks and three APPs. Clinical care includes working in the primary care clinic, a certified patient-centered medical home for an underserved population with more than 17,000 outpatient visits annually. The clinic is the primary teaching site for the pediatric residency program. Our providers also staff the newborn nursery in a state of the art labor and delivery suite and mother baby unit that opened in July 2019. The child protection team and pediatric rheumatology are also members of the section. All faculty members are active in a wide array of scholarship including clinical research, advocacy, quality and safety and education.
