This is a meaningful opportunity for a licensed pharmacist who wants to practice at the top of their license in a structured, clinical pharmacy environment—without retail pressures.
In this role, you will provide pharmaceutical and clinical services through a centralized pharmacy operation supporting a state correctional health system, while delivering care aligned with clinical standards found in non-correctional settings.

This position is not located inside a correctional facility. The role is based in a centralized pharmacy setting.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (breaks as applicable)
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week

Worksite: Centralized pharmacy
License Required: Unrestricted, clear pharmacist license in the applicable state
Review medication orders for accuracy, safety, allergies, and appropriateness of therapy
Apply clinical judgment and provide recommendations when indicated
Deliver pharmaceutical and clinical services consistent with professional standards
Collaborate with healthcare professionals on medication-related matters
Support safe, efficient medication management in a high-volume pharmacy environment
Candidates who thrive in this role often bring:

Ability to compound IV medications within scope of licensure
Clinical experience in areas such as:
Anticoagulation (e.g., warfarin management)
Antibiotic stewardship

Comfort multitasking in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
Familiarity with enterprise EHR/pharmacy software (helpful, not required)
