About Barrow Neurological Foundation

 The Barrow Neurological Foundation provides philanthropic support of Barrow Neurological Institute, an international leader in the treatment, research, and education of brain and spinal diseases, conditions and injuries. The Foundation’s mission is simple: to be the catalyst of our donors’ passion for transformation by providing the resources for Barrow Neurological Institute to achieve its mission of saving human lives through innovative treatment, groundbreaking, curative research and educating the next generation of the world’s leading neuro clinicians.  Learn more:  Position Summary: The Philanthropy Operations and CRM Manager is responsible for overall Customer Relationship Management (CRM) operations and administrative management to support philanthropy activities of the Foundation. Provides administrative management for the foundation office.  Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
  • Directs and manages CRM system, data collection, training and related activities including donor data base management. Specifics include – gift processing, acknowledgement letters, daily reporting, screening and donor updates.
  • Provides analysis and reporting of CRM related activities to support philanthropy activities. Including historical reporting, forward looking projections and scorecard metrics. Evaluation and enhancement of existing reports as well as the development of new tools.
  • Directs and manages data entry/donor management coordinator personnel functional activities.
  • Serves as CRM subject matter expert within the Foundation and represents the Foundation on system teams.


Required Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and/or additional job-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations, with at least three (3) of those in philanthropy operations.

Preferred Experience:

  • Blackbaud or Salesforce CRM experience.
  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
  • Supervisory experience.
