The University of Arkansas Medical School Department of Anesthesiology has multiple openings for BE/BC Anesthesiologists. There are currently needs in CV ICU, Cardiac Anesthesia, Neuro ICU, and General Anesthesia. UAMS is Arkansas's only Adult Level 1 Trauma Center and is the states tertiary care referral center. UAMS is a comprehensive stroke center that provides care for Arkansass and the surrounding states most critically ill patients, providing their residents with a robust clinical experience that will prepare them to chart their future. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a physician passionate about providing exceptional patient care and academia to educate the next generation of anesthesiologists through our programs for medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunity Highlights Flexible shift model that offers you the ability to customize your own schedule with over 25 weeks off a year. ICU position is typically split 50/50 between ICU AND OR Separate OB team (No OB cases required). Competitive base salary based on experience and faculty rank + Signing Bonus + Relocation. Ability to pick up excess day, night, or weekend shifts for additional compensation.
