Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is looking for a pathologist to participate in the day-to-day care of hospital patients by providing and interpreting laboratory information to help solve diagnostic problems and to monitor the effects of treatment. Participate in applicable cross-organizational performance-improvement activities and service level peer review; developing and communicating objectives; and coordinating efforts to integrate patient care and support services. Provide educational direction for the medical and laboratory staff, and participate in educational programs of the institution as appropriate.
