**Powder Coater – **Make Every Finish Flawless

We’re looking for a Night Shift Powder Coater Extraordinaire who takes pride in precision, consistency and a flawless finish. If you thrive in had a hands-on role where every detail matters, this is your chance to join a growing team of highly skilled professionals at True FAB & Powder!

The schedule will be 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM, Monday thru Thursday

What You’ll Do:

Prep Like a Pro

  • Clean, mask, and hang metal parts on racks prior to coating.
  • Use solvents, air tools, and keen eyesight to ensure parts are free from oils, debris, and contaminants.
  • Perform visual inspections before coating – every great finish starts with a great prep.

Perfect the Powder

  • Operate spray guns and coating booths with finesse.
  • Adjust voltage, air pressure, and flow for smooth, even coverage.
  • Meet strict quality standards–because orange peel finishes belong on fruit, not metal.

Cure & Finish Strong

  • Load and monitor parts in curing ovens with precision timing.
  • Unload, inspect, and touch up as needed to meet flawless standards.
  • Maintain equipment for peak performance to keep things running smoothly.

Own the Quality

  • Inspect finished parts for color consistency, coverage and durability.
  • Use thickness gauges and inspection tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Document defects and flag issues – your eye for detail is your superpower.

Safety & Shop Cleanliness

  • Always follow safety protocols for powders, chemicals, and ovens.
  • Wear your PPE like a badge of honor.
  • Keep your workspace organized – nobody wants to battle rouge hoses or powder clouds.

What You Bring to the Table:

Experience & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • AT LEAST 5 years of experience in powder coating.
  • Familiar with masking, metal prep, ovens, and spray gear.
  • Solid knowledge of powders, colors, and application techniques.

Technical Know-How

  • Confident using coating equipment, gauges, and tools.
  • Attention to detail is your second nature.

Soft Skills

  • Punctual, reliable, and ready to work as part of a team.
  • Communicates clearly and follows instructions.
  • Takes pride in every smooth, clean, profession finish.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable in a warm, dusty environment wearing full PPE.
  • Familiar with industrial workspaces and safety gear.
