Job Summary
  • Administratively responsible for all aspects of a pediatric practice of the Children's of Alabama. Responsible for daily operation of practice.
- Manage site's day-to-day operations.
- Review and edit payroll and schedule site's staff.
- Perform daily operational duties as necessary.
- Delegate and manage site's inventory of supplies and drugs.
- Interview job candidates, oversee training/coaching/discipline, and complete performance reviews.
- Serve as site point person for computer software, hardware, and EHR support/issues.
- Oversee and maintain regulatory compliance with Medicial Home, Meaningful Use, Joint Commission, COA, and other pertinent policies, procedures, and standards.
- Schedule, prepare, and conduct routine staff and physician meetings for the site.
- Supervise and manage the daily balancing process for the site.
- Serve and administrator on call for the practice as needed or directed. Education
  • Bachelor’s degree
Experience
  • 3 years of management experience in a medical practice setting; additional experience may substitute for required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Experience in pediatrics, primary care, or specialty services appropriate for the position preferred.
