Our growing preschool is looking for a Preschool Teacher who can help to create a fun environment and incorporate educational programs that assist in our students development. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for monitoring and teaching the three year old in our program, developing a curriculum that the students will respond to positively and partnering with our team to enhance the learning environment at our school.
Preschool Teacher Responsibilities:
*Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with students and parents.
*Create activities that are fun and educational for the students
*Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every student
* Deliver reports on potential concerns about students as to management as needed
*Manage day to day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for students.
*Creating weekly lesson plans
*Meeting with parents and guardians to discuss their child's progress and needs, determine their priorities for their child, and suggest ways that they can promote learning and development
*Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students
*Attend monthly staff meetings
*Complete 15 hours of professional staff development per year
Required work experiences, skills and education:
*Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
*Two or more years of experience working with children in a classroom setting
*Caring and nurturing attitude towards students
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Must pass background check and have a physical exam completed
*Must complete a First Aid and CPR course
