Seeking a reliable Press Assistant for a night shift (6:00PM - 6:00AM) in Plymouth, MN, to support the setup and operation of an 8–10 color Flexographic Printing Press. The role involves material handling, cleaning, maintenance, and assisting the Press Operator to ensure safe and efficient production.
Responsibilities include assisting with press setup and operation, loading/unloading rolls and sleeves (up to 75 lbs), checking ink viscosity, cleaning print stations, assembling doctor blade chambers, maintaining a clean press area, and following safety procedures.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, 2+ years related experience preferred, ability to read/write English, basic mechanical skills, ability to operate a pallet jack, strong record-keeping and troubleshooting skills, and physical ability to lift heavy objects.
