Seeking a Principal Construction Inspector based in Mt. Laurel, NJ, to oversee municipal and county infrastructure projects within a one-hour radius. This senior role acts as the Owner's representative during construction, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations.
Responsibilities include performing inspections for roadway, utility, water, sewer, grading, drainage, and site development projects, preparing reports, resolving field issues, and guiding junior inspectors or team members.
Qualifications include a BA/BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, with 8+ years of experience in municipal or public works projects. Preferred certifications include PE or NICET Levels I–III. Knowledge of zoning, land development regulations, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are advantageous.
