Principal ERP Applications Analyst
Providence is calling a Principal ERP Technical Analyst to our location in Renton, WA or Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Principal ERP Technical Analyst who will use a wide application of principles, theories, and concepts related to technical and operations, to provide solutions to a diverse array of difficult problems. May lead medium project and work teams and will work on a number of complex technical policies, programs and initiatives. Acts as a data analyst to implement complex systems configurations programs and policies for a large multi facility healthcare organization. Addresses topics and issues that are both strategic (long term) and operational (immediate) in nature. Implements and maintains complex programs of IT resource configuration and operation. Ensures that improvements in and/or changes to operations are implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Provides technical and operational assistance to EBA teams to ensure that installed systems are documented according to organization standards and policies. Acts as a source and mentor for direction, training/skills development and guidance for less experienced departmental staff. May be assigned a lead role to assist management in short or long term management needs.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
This position will be involved in the implementation and ongoing daily support of business applications. Works very closely with the IS organization’s technical and operational departments, vendors and contractors, and other IS caregivers to implement and maintain these policies, methodologies, and standards
Able to offer customer value-added enhancement ideas
Mentor analysts in technical skills, operational approach and effective communication.
Actively seek out and develop opportunities to leverage IS services to improve reliability and availability of IS systems, customer satisfaction and reduce costs and enhance overall operational efficiencies.
Coordinating with other IT areas who are responsible for file transfers, security administration, reporting, databases and other functions.
Help investigate and resolve system functional and technical errors. Troubleshoot on systems and data, and generate solutions which may include systems modifications enhancements or new procedures.
Identify and analyze operational and systems issues and opportunities and produce effective solutions
Identify and create standards and processes to support the application portfolio management.
Review, recommend and support new standards, protocols and process within teams
Lead project teams as needed. Contribute to project budget and effectively and independently manage IS projects collaborating with business partners, stakeholders, and vendors.
Perform complex qualitative and/or quantitative analyses.
Write expert technical documentation to be used as training and reference materials for technical staff and application teams.
Solution across multiple applications and non-application functions in innovative ways.
Use in-depth information and analysis to provide management with advice and counsel on a variety of business issues. Issues are often highly technical and complex in nature.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, Commerce or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience (at least 8 years of functional experience).
Eight (8) years of experience with diverse technical background/orientation detailed working knowledge of servers/storage, networks, databases, applications, operations and configuration management.
Three (3) years of experience with large scale business transformation and ERP system implementation projects with scope spanning multiple technical domains of IS modernization.
Demonstrated ability to successfully execute strategic plans for highly complex issues; experience standardizing complex and disparate processes; methodologies related to application management such as system deployment, support, and life cycle; experience in process improvement methodology, change management, operational improvement in complex systems. Must have proven ability to interact at and communicate to all levels of an organization.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Information Services, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering.
Minimum of three(3) years of experience with implementation or support of large multi-site ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, Infor/Lawson.
