* Employee Discounts This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Basic Qualifications: * Principal Engineer SW Quality : 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; or 3 Years with Masters; or 1 Years with PhD.
* Senior Principal Engineer SW Quality : 8 Years with Bachelors in Science; or 6 Years with Masters; or 4 Years with PhD. Basic Qualifications for Both Levels: * Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
* Experience in developing and implementing Software Quality Assurance plans and knowledgeable of Software Quality Assurance processes.
* Experience in developing and/or using metrics
* Experience in evaluation, tracing, and/or analysis of requirements Preferred Qualifications: * Demonstrated ability prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
* Experience in Missile Systems/Sub-Systems design, construction, or sustainment
* Experience in process monitoring, data collection, analysis, and metric reporting for a large program/supplier-base.
* Experience in Peer Reviews and Code Reviews
* Experience in software build testing, qualification, and Integration and Test
* Able to read and understand Software Code (C++, Java, Python)
* Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems and software problem tracking tools (e.g., SAP, DOORs, Jira, Confluence)
* Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodolog
* A current/Active Top Secret clearance #HSVJune2025 Salary Range: $95,800.00 - $143,600.00Salary Range 2: $119,200.00 - $178,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
