Principal/Sr. Principal Modeling Simulation & Analysis Engineer with Security Clearance

* Developing and translating CONOPs and related tactics into modeled simulation behaviors in campaign-level models.
* Collaborating closely with cross functional teams and cross programs.
* Developing roadmaps and plans to support Campaign Analysis strategic objectives.
* Develop new models and refine existing models for integration into AFSIM. Basic Qualifications This position may be filled at a Principal or Sr. Principal level * Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (reviewed within the last 6 years), with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
* Requires a bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience; a master's degree with 3 years; or a PhD with 1 year (Sr. Principal level requires a bachelor's with 8 years,; a Master's with 6 years; or a PhD with 4 years) * Requires 2 years of experience modeling new capabilities into a team's modeled scenario in Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM)
* Requires 2 years of experience with Object Oriented Simulation * Requires 2 years of proven experience using AFSIM to support modeling and simulation efforts Preferred Qualifications * Experience with campaign-level modeling and simulation
* Experience with multi-resolution conceptual model development, verification, and validation processes to develop simulations to address questions on military operations
* Experience with relevant Operation Analysis Tools: AFSIM, CFAM, STORM, COSAGE
* Familiar with team collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Github, etc.
* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
* Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with existing and prospective stakeholders
* Strong communication skills to clearly present technical approaches and findings to a variety of audiences

* Employee Discounts This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Salary Range: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00Salary Range 2: $131,100.00 - $196,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
