A Kentucky-based manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer to enhance throughput, quality, and cost efficiency on key production lines.
Primary Duties
- Analyze manufacturing processes to reduce scrap, downtime, and cycle time.
- Develop and optimize standard work, instructions, and process parameters.
- Lead trials, capability studies, and DOE to validate improvements.
- Support new product launches, process layout, and equipment selection.
- Collaborate on root-cause analysis and corrective actions with maintenance, quality, and operations.
- Monitor KPIs (OEE, yield, throughput) and report on continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years in process or manufacturing engineering roles.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with analytical tools and statistical methods.
- CAD/layout skills are a plus.
- Strong communication skills across all plant levels.
