This role involves researching, designing, and developing processes to enhance quality, productivity, and workflow.
Develop production routes and define process parameters for cold drawn operations.
Create standard operating procedures, document project results, and prepare periodic reports.
Lead projects related to product and process industrialization and assess manufacturing processes using data analysis to improve timing, costs, and quality.
Innovate and implement best practices to increase production rates and output quality.
Investigate and troubleshoot process issues, define operating instructions, and develop reports with recommendations for improvements.
Drive SMED initiatives, design tooling, and manage tooling processes.
Assist in training production teams on new processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications include a BS in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, experience with Six Sigma (certification preferred), and 2+ years as a process engineer.
