Stefanini Group is looking for a seasoned PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST for a globally recognized food and beverage manufacturing firm in Chicago, IL!
The ideal candidate will handle multiple special projects in progress that impact the Procurement organization. This role will be focused on helping drive the procurement work required in a pair of Divestitures. This role will also help maintain linkage to the Procurement optimization project that is happening simultaneously within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze contracts that may be impacted by the divestitures, identify disynergies and mitigation strategies for impacted contracts.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to buyers on analysis of vendor relationhships, contract discussions and strategies for renegotiations for those vendors with large scale impacts as a result of the divestitures.
  • Evaluate impact of divestitures on strategic plan initiatives across procurement and supply chain
  • Assist with change management communication and/or training needed within procurement organization and support partners.
  • Manage the execution of TSA services across both divestitures for procurement.
  • Will interact closely with the Separation Management Office, Procurement Category Leads/Director and other Cross-Functional Senior Leaders in the organization.
  • Ensure Compliance with Procurement, Financial, and Company policies and reporting.
  • Help drive various consulting partners to meet the goals of the project.

  • Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required, MBA Preferred.
  • Experience managing spend in excess of $1B.
  • 7-10 years of Direct/Indirect Procurement experience.
  • Supply Chain experience in addition to Procurement preferred.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and influence business decisions and champion change.
  • Strong Analytical, Problem Solving, Planning, and Execution skills.
  • Effectively articulate various perspectives and impacts of issues and project them into the future. Able to see all sides and the inherent value to stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work through robust agreements and settle disputes effectively.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be collaborative and be direct as well as diplomatic.
  • Anticipates and adjusts for problems and obstacles.
  • Effective at establishing trust and building effective business relationships and getting things done through others.
  • Organizational Agility - knows how to get things done both through formal and informal channels.
